Garam Movie Review

Hero Aadi after a series of flops was looking for a solid hit. Madan who is well known for sensible movies like Aa Naluguru (Story and Dialogue writer), Pellaina Kotthalo, Gunde Jallumandhe, etc is also going through a rough pace. Both these struggling hero and director duo teamed up for Garam with Saikumar as producer

After watching the trailer, everyone was wondering why Madan doing a mass masala movie when his core strengths are sensible portraying of emotions.

Ten minutes in to the movie and it's very clear that Madan did a blunder by selecting this script for the movie.Viewers left scratching their heads thinking what made Saikumar so excited that he agreed to produce this movie.

There is not much of a story line here. Two guys Aadi and Chaitnya are rivals since school days. Chaitanya get the job first after studies and Aadi to go to city in search of a job. From there it's all about wooing the heroine and all the things which are as apart of the standard Mass entertainer template

Aadi like every other young actor in current generation danced and fights well. Apart from that there is nothing much to talk about. Performance wise he is improved a little bit. Adah sharma who was shown in Burkha for more than half of the movie is completely miscast.

Only saving grace in this movie is senior actor naresh who acted as a father. All his scenes came out very well and this is where director strength lies

There are many other other supporting cast is present and they are strictly ok. Shakalaka Shankar and Madhu tried their best to evoke laughter

There is not much to talk about technical departments which were just functioned as per the template

Understandably production values are quite good but no point in spending money on a point less and soul less script like this .

Age old story , brain less screen play, bad placement of songs spoiled the movie even though there are few good twists, they are not adequate to save this movie

On a whole, Director Madan did a blunder by selecting this script out of his comfort zone

Rating - 2/5
